PHL Bid - AEA-ATO-21-RCM-73308

Any new info ladies and germs? They picked zero in NCEPT — no surprise cuz of the open bid — but just wondering when the hiring process will move again. Been on referred for months now.
Nothing yet unfortunately. My fac reps haven't heard a peep either. Optimistic on my part thinking the FAA would have acted faster.

You did read that the move is likely delayed. Makes sense that selections will be pushed back as well. And rest assured as soon as anyone hears anything they will come running to be the first to post about it.

I take what I read on this forum with a grain of salt and then further investigate myself.

I’m pretty sure when/if we get selected, it’ll be through a TOL rather than an update on the AVIATOR website.
My reps have led me to believe they get notice before we know anything (and management). Guessing they'll be the ones to let us know? My last TOL was my initial hire offer and that was ages ago so I don't even remember how I received that.... Will they possibly send out emails?

I think you are correct on this. Also, I’m fairly certain TOLs/FOLs are issued via your @faa.gov address. I continue checking AVIATOR on the regular just to hold on to a little hope my application status might change. Gotta hold on to something!

If it’s anything like NCEPT selections you will get a call from HR first verifying your interest before they put in the work of drawing up a TOL.

Crazy that this is necessary. Don’t fucking apply for a job if you aren’t going to accept it. Lol. The terms aren’t a mystery, you know exactly how much money you will make and what is expected of you to succeed.

meh then withdraw your ERR/application. It’s not that hard to keep track of where you have out for in this job. Or don’t whatever.
Agree 100%. Personally I think barring hardship circumstances that is your new job. Take the job or resign. So many people blocking releases in NCEPT only to turn down the offer.

True but in the event for whatever reason you are declined, the only way to find out is through Aviator. No one is going to send you an email to say you weren't chosen, but aviator will update and say "Another candidate was selected for this position." And then you can cry yourself back to sleep.
