Maybe, maybe not. Knew a guy washed out of one 5, went to a 4 and made it, and he's been CPC at an 8 for several years now.

Some 5s are more complex than others, and some facilities have different mindsets on training.
I knew one 5 that washed plenty of capable people, because their standards were just unrealisitic.
Nailed it

edit: to answer your question about being rehired. No because to be rehired you need to certified as a CPC for at least 1 year
He wouldn't be rehired but this is not the reason. You don't need to ever be a cpc to be hired on a bid.

2nd this. Look at how many 5s and 6s have checkout success rates around 50%. Complexity might be a factor, but culture definitely is at a lot of facilities.

Its almost always culture. Even at the 10+ facilities. I can almost guarantee a level 10 facility that seems complex but has a high check out rate has a better culture than a level 10 that seems complex with a low checkout rate

Random question time. Can someone please explain what is up with Lubbock? I swear every time someone mentions LBB it's always "Yea I know a guy who came from Lubbock, the cornerstone of the NAS, this" or "Did you hear the last academy class sent three kids to Lubbock, the cornerstone of the NAS, that?" I get it, it's the cornerstone of the NAS. That has been made clear, but why? What is happening over there that has inspired this cultish reference?

Some guy kept calling Rochester the jewel of the NAS and his friend at Lubbock got jealous

I know that, my question remains. Why? Where did it come from? It's not just a point sixty-five thing cause I've got old timers that I know for a fact aren't on here or any other online forum so how has this spread throughout the country? If I go to a euro control facility and mention Lubbock am I gonna have some French guy go "Oh oui oui Lubbock, c'est la premiere pierre du Nas"?

If LBB goes down, we all fall. You didn’t know that?

Was the 5 in the state of NV lol

I’m reviving everyone’s favorite thread, because what happened this weekend can’t be ignored.

CDC director Walensky went on CNN and said some things that would have gotten her banned from social media barely a month ago, the worst being the admission that the vaccines don’t stop transmission, full stop.

The argument that “you should get vaccinated because it causes less spread to others” is now gone. Why the government is mandating a vaccine that doesn’t prevent infection or spread in any way is the question of the year.

November can’t come soon enough. Not that the new bosses would necessarily be better than the old ones, but people need to be held accountable for the lies and the mandates based on those lies which have spiraled us out of control. What a disgrace.

Is this the “conspiracy theories” we’ve been saying for the past year or year and a half??

Dems are often loons, no doubt about it.
The article aptly points out that Biden claimed in July you wouldn't get COVID if you had been vaccinated.
Again, this is why you'd have to be a moron to rely on politicians for your medical advice.

Most of us everyday libs had already recognized that this wasnt true, since there was a MAJOR national story 2 months prior about several MLB players with breakthrough cases. And in fact the first breakthrough in the U.S had been reported as early as Febrauary. So if you heard from a lib that breakthrough infections were a conspiracy theory, then that lib is an idiot, and never represented the base as a whole.

So the fact that Biden is a tool is a relatively moot conversation point in regards to libs vs cons POV on Covid.

Also, as much as libs are often loons, so is anyone who buys into articles such as what the federalist is putting out.

The most amusing part of the article is that these tards still pretend like they can't figure out if these deaths are "with" or "from" covid. Children, we're past that...

Excess mortality puts our deaths at 200K+ over reported Covid deaths. Doesn't take more than common sense to figure out that they are "from".

Excess mortality also accounts for things that should be treatable in hospitals but are causing people to die because all the beds and staffing resources are being used on unvaccinated idiots.

Hospitals firing unvaccinated workers and others leaving the workforce because they’re being worked to death is also reducing the available beds.
New York hospitals allowing Covid positive vaxxed staff to work while firing unvaxxed.
But keep preaching from your pedestal.
One would be a fool to deny that fired nurses have an impact on hospital beds.

One would be more of a fool to think that's really relevant factored against the impact of covid itself, and the tens of millions of people who put in all the effort possible to downplay it and eschew mitigation policies/recommendations.

I at least owe you thanks for acknowledging that during this pandemic, nurses are being worked to death. Way too many people still seem to think this virus isn't a thing.

Worked to death yet many came up with dancing tik tok videos?
