For years and years it's been "if you don't like what a business does, don't patronize/work for them". God forbid the business adjust.

But all of a sudden these same people are losing their minds over having a piece of cloth over their face while shopping.

Oh the humanity!
A public business can't require a personal medical device. It's all bullshit. Sorry, not sorry.
I'm sorry not sorry for you.

So we believe in the government regulating people's bodies, unless we don't, and now we believe a business has the right to refuse service on any grounds they want, unless we don't?

about the only thing y'all are consistent on is science denial lol.

What is a public business, last I checked telling businesses what they can and can’t do is communism. This whole mask thing is a question of empathy and respect. Other countries do it because it’s courteous to not spread your germs around like a dick beater, you guys just think you have the freedom to do everything and people telling you are a jackass hurts your feefees
You totally just ignored the main problem. A personal health choice. It's not a fucking dress code like some of you think.

Right.. the science.. tell me more about sneezing in a mask and keeping it on your face all day.

Guaranteeing the health and safety of your workforce and customer base is just good business though.

Emphasis added
I don't have a problem with anyone choosing to wear a mask. Just don't make it mandatory and act like it works.. or get mad because that foreign student solo can't understand you trying to speak under it. The constant virtue signaling is so tiresome. You spit in a mask all day, constantly touching it to move out of the way in between eating your lunch, or just readjusting is a great way to spread whatever you have onto everything else you touch.
Enjoy the face diapers. I don't give a shit.

I don't enjoy it either. If a business wants me to wear one I'm not gonna make a stink though. It's a minor inconvience not a life altering change. It's not virtue signaling anymore than a gym providing a bottle of cleaning chemicals and paper towels to wipe your bench down with, or is that cuck shit too? How bout basic safety rules at a gun range? Is that liberal propoganda?

If you don't like it, don't frequent that business.... it's a free market baby.

I honestly don't care either. I'm over COVID too. I'm vaxxed, don't have any comorbidities and am in good health. I don't wear a mask unless it's mandatory, but I'm also not ultra butthurt by a few micrometers of paper.

Your hot takes on masks are just retarded mosquito level thinking though for real.

I don’t like wearing the mask either and I wish it wasn’t mandatory. But why do you add shit like it doesn’t work. Wearing a quality mask definitely works. Why wouldn’t it work?

Most reasonable people should be at this point. Who *wants* to wear a mask? I ain't taking glee in it. As soon as the county gets back to the yellow, off it goes. But really we should be calling the pandemic over by the end of next month, if you ask me.

Maybe they don't understand that it's not all or nothing. When we say it "works" we never mean that it ends virus transmission completely and covid is eliminated. "Works" means that it reduces spread, contains a lot of viral particles, creates resistance on how far the particles that are expelled can travel.

When people say "masks don't work", I don't know what their expectation is.

Same with vaccines.

We all wear our masks around our chins at work (me included) but then ppl are like. These things don’t even work! So and so just got Covid!

You comparing a cloth mask to physical gun safety is mosquito level thinking.

This mask debate really strikes a nerve in this echo chamber. There will never be level ground on this and I don't give a shit. If you tell me to wear a mask because you feel paranoid or unsafe, fine. I hope you feel like you did something good..

Did you just call p65 an echo chamber? It’s the least echo chamber on the internet. We just argue all day

Nobody told you to wear a mask because they feel unsafe. You told us that businesses can't regulate masks, and we told you otherwise.

Seriously. I was just thinking about the load of anti vaccine people piling on in the omnicron thread the other day and how they were a lot more vocal here than pro-vax.

But hey, every time my opinion is completely wrecked by others, I just tell myself it's an echo chamber too.

(I’m asking this in good faith, not sarcastically).

If a coworker shows up sick and coughing, at what point are you like “get away from me”/“wear a mask” versus just letting them mouth-breathe their way around the place? Like what’s your threshold for when you would want them to wear a mask near you versus just being sick all over and not doing anything preventative?

In Asian countries, they wear masks all the time even before COVID and as a courtesy to others culturally, so where do you draw that line for wearing a mask out of courtesy versus “it’s not my problem if you get sick from me coughing” or whatever.

This is America courtesy is communism, fuck everyone else I’m the only person that matters

When these anti Covid mask vaccine people get Covid they’re immediately on the phone with the flight surgeon getting DQD for 10 days

That's called an analogy. And yes they are both businesses instituting rules for the welfare of their customers and employees. One keeps you from getting ventilated, one keep you off a ventilator.

This mask debate really strikes a nerve in this echo chamber. There will never be level ground on this and I don't give a shit. If you tell me to wear a mask because you feel paranoid or unsafe, fine. I hope you feel like you did something good..
It's not an echo chamber if I'm agreeing with you that I and most people are sick of masks/COVID restrictions. I'm just saying your stance on businesses not being able to set thier own rules is at best hypocritical and at worst absolutely moronic.
