Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-22-ATCEXP-76330

Facility list received yesterday

I received this list too but I'm getting a new list now only because I'm from the 2019 bid and they did not review my most current ATC experience. I do want to share with you all that I was told by ATO that they're sending 270 files for placement review starting next week and that higher level facilities will have placement priority. I would assume the bulk of the 270 files is all of you.

I wonder what it means about “files” and “placement review”. For the ‘not so smart’ people here, like myself.

Thinking it'd be safe to assume the people it will be geared towards are the ones already almost complete with CIL right? I'm still in the, "received TOL acceptance, but not issued EODS or CIL" group.

I was thinking LOU, LEX, and ADS would be the best on the list but idk

I think the only reason it's moved fast is because I cleared medical/security back in October from the OTS bid and then hopped on this bid
So did you get a list from that bid, decline it, and apply for this prior exp bid?

I'm looking to move to a certain part of the U.S, and wont accept somewhere I don't want to live (partly the reason I'm leaving the military). I was wondering if anyone has had experience turning down a list and jumping on a new bid?

No the other bid was and off the street bid and they offered me a start date for April but then the next day I got an offer for the experience bid and chose it instead. So no list from the other bid

If you turn down the list or the placement they offer, you’ll have to reapply to the next bid

As far as I know, they review everyone that gets a TOL at the same time, essentially they know what levels and facility types you’ll be offered before you even have clearances and then those people with high level facilities get placed before the others.
