Well you could release at 85% and facilities this quarter were staffed up to 90% so that sounds right. If you are anywhere between 85 and 90 then you got both.I doubt the list that was posted is the final list. If it's right, then there were 9 facilities that gained and released in the same round.
Yah the center thing is absolutely absurd idk why more people don’t talk about itThe majority of academy grads go to Z’s but only 5 out of 100+ selections from Zs. Working as intended.
Center controllers make up half the work force and they account for less than 15% of all NCEPT releases since the latest rule changes. That # will trend down to be close to zero after the CRWG numbers come out. ??♂️The majority of academy grads go to Z’s but only 5 out of 100+ selections from Zs. Working as intended.

How about we let them transfer then? They also account for less than 15% of agency TOP
40% of the workforce. And the release policy hasn’t changed in 4 years. Many Zs are often red because they fill the deviation list and populate OS ranks for the entire NAS.Center controllers make up half the work force and they account for less than 15% of all NCEPT releases since the latest rule changes. You can blame Tennessee because as soon as they moved to a more liberal release policy everyone at ZME abandoned ship at the same time and the agency panicked. How about we let them transfer then?
Per the latest PPT you're right, it's 40% but the point still stands that they're being disproportionately represented in NCEPT. Yes, the rules haven't changed in four years but I'm not sure why that's relevant. The reason I pointed that out is because it wouldn't have been fair of me to be critiquing a system based on rules that are no longer in effect. Whether we want to admit it or not the area staffing is much more relevant to Zs than overall numbers. Look at ZAB; some areas on permanent 6-days while the others are being forced to plug in half of the CPCs on shift to try and hit four hours TOP. Center releases should not be subject to NCEPT if we're too afraid of the implication of making it area by area; leave it up to the Facrep/ATM.40% of the workforce. Then they wouldn't be able to justify all the OT!How about we let them transfer then?
Pigs don’t sweatYep, I got congrats message in slack on getting selected.. then 2 minutes later told that the list was unofficial and not supposed to be released yet. I'm sweating like a hog.
huh... learn something new everyday I guess.Pigs don’t sweat
You may think you’re getting screwed cuz you’re wearing a Z hat but the tracons have it way worse than you do.Per the latest PPT you're right, it's 40% but the point still stands that they're being disproportionately represented in NCEPT.
