Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-17-ALLSRCE-53474

Found this on the OPM website so I'm giving it a try
"Initial point of contact for account lockouts, challenge question resets, forgotten usernames and other technical support is the DoD Security Services (Call) Center at 1-888-282-7682."

I know my clearance is complete because I didn't have to fill out the SF86....I've held a TS since 2005, and like I said was just granted a clearance by OPM.

Lol don't tell this to the boys over at SM, they will call you a liar and tell you that you're out of your mind. No matter how I hard I tried, they wouldn't believe me that clearances could transfer over. And that's about when I stopped visiting in over there.

So evidently you don't get access to your e-qip after you submit it. I didn't forget my password, there is just no active request on my account so it doesn't let me login. Really strange there isn't a static copy of my submitted SF-86 to view whenever I want.

Interesting. I guess I’ll be in the same boat when my security POC contacts me.

MedXpress question: They want every doctors appointment in the last three years... one provider I use I can access my records online, the other will only mail out... I only have 5 days until my appointment so should I wait for those records or what? It’s only routine stuff...

Don't worry...when they do your interview a year later you need to recall everything you put on your sf86.

I guess my main (and only) concern is will my employer not responding to their letter or it getting returned for an incomplete address hold up the hiring process? I can remedy the situation easily if they need to interview me or call me or anything, but would this hold me up from being "conditionally cleared" or whatever is necessary to just be comfortably waiting for an FOL? I mean they have email address and phone numbers for everyone, why don't they do it that way?

Because anyone can respond to an email. By using snail mail it gets, in theory, to the correct person who then fills it out and signs it.

It's almost as easy for someone to lie about an address as it is an email, especially one at a custom domain. I doubt many managers are @yahoo.com. Well whatever either way

on the credit report disclosure, what do I need to put down for "current organization assigned"?

EDIT: Also its asking that I fill out the OF306 again and mail it to the security contact. Is this necessary since I've already filled out on the EODS?

What does my employer get? Is it just something for HR to fill out or is my direct management going to see this? I'm in a very niche setting in finance and it's going to ruffle a lot of feathers if management thinks i might be leaving.

My EODS forms were approved yesterday. A little stressed because i'll be out of state with no access to email all of next week, but i don't have a CIL or anything. Not sure if i should preemptively let my HR contact know that or not.

Your employer/supervisor gets a 1 page, front and back, questionnaire to fill out and a copy goes to your HR as well. It asks simple questions, similar to what you'll find on the 86. Alcohol related events, time of employment, etc. Nothing too crazy, but when they see it they'll absolutely know what's going on, there isn't a lot to it and it'd be hard to mistake what it is.

My employer got mine about 2 weeks after I submitted the 86. It wasn't an ideal situation for them to know I was considering leaving, I even mentioned on my 86 I'd like for any contact with them to delayed until it was absolutely necessary. I don't think they cared much about my feelings on the matter though :)

But ya long story short, I'm in a bit of a sticky situation with my current employer as well

I’ve been waiting over 3 weeks for a CIL after EODS approval you’ll be fine.

How’d you find out you received the conditional security clearance?

Emailed POC regarding a question I had. Then was told my conditional clearance was granted. Neither of my current/past employer have received a form or anything yet to fill out. So I’m not sure if everybody gets forms sent or only some.
