Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-17-ALLSRCE-53474

I’m pretty sure everyone has 9-agl-avs and it has nothing to do with the region. If anyone has a DIFFERENT email please let me know I’d be interested to know.

Quick question for anyone who has filled out the E-QIP already. I'm pretty much done with mine just waiting to do my finger prints and then submit it..My question is though, there are one or two apartment numbers I don't quiet remember from my college days since I moved a few times while there. As long as I have the address right but maybe don't remember my exact apartment number will that be an issue? I'm doing some work to solve it by looking for old leases and emails but I'd just like to know worst case scenario if I can't find the exact number is that a big deal?

9-agl is the great lakes region, new hires medicals are just initiated by the 9-agl email address.

The main point of the addresses is to prove you weren’t out of the country with some organization doing nefarious things or holed away in a cult somewhere. That’s not to say you shouldn’t put every detail you can remember or find, but you won’t fail a background check because you failed to put an apartment number or were off by a few numbers

Once initiated and your file is with your region are you supposed to get an email from a separate mailbox or is that provided to you? I’m in the southwest medical region and I found the mailbox to the regional office online but idk if I should bother calling/emailing them.

This is the one thing that I have constantly heard go back and forth. " clearance will transfer...it won't....it will". I'm still waiting on my EODS and everything after that and there are people that have completed everything already. Hopefully I can skip some of the line with having a current clearance already.

I've read of probably at least 10 people that said that their's personally transferred, and of guys I was in the service with that had their clearances transferred. My 86 was odd though, my clearance has since expired about 18 months ago.

But when I did my 86 this time, all of my information was already there populated on the form. Past employers, education, travel, etc - It was all already there. The only thing I had to add was like my current employer and 1 trip to mexico last year. I think it took me about 10 minutes to submit it.

You can find the number to your regional FS but honestly i wouldnt bother with it unless its urgent. They will reach out to you if they need something.

Well thats good news then. Here's to waiting for my EODS and follow on!

Mines 9 agl and I live in oregon. I sent them an email a day ago they responded this morning. Kind of confused but I found out I am not tier 2 after finishing my CIL.

You received a response on a Saturday?

EDIT: I just received a response that my medical had been received, was going to be reviewed and sent to flight surgeon for approval. They must be working overtime to get these medicals processed.

This seems like it’s moving a lot faster than I was expecting... medical and drug test this week and then my CIL is complete..

I am currently waiting for my security email. I received my CIL last Wednesday, and am trying to prepare ahead for filling out the eQIP. In May and June of 2016, my brother and I rode our bicycles from Oregon to Virginia. 2 months of biking across the country. How should I account for that in the eQIP?

Bro riding bikes from west to east is an automatic rejection from the FAA. I don't make the rules.

Not true. As long as they rode at odd altitudes, they should be fine.

EDIT: @nbc1179 - I don't see any problem, I would think that you could just treat it as a vacation. Are you concerned about how to treat it from the perspective of your employment history, or what?
