Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-17-ALLSRCE-53474

That was my understanding. I'm clocking it from the time the nurse brought me back to the time I walked out the door. I probably spent a good hour of that time just waiting to see the physician after I completed my exams.

blood pressure
vision
urine analysis
hearing
EKG
physical
review

2.5 hours.

In contrast, mine was conducted all by the doctor and he was wasting NO time. Funny story, actually, as I walked in the door to shake his hand he handed me a plastic cup and said "go pee in this."

Mine was the exact same way. Wasted zero time, said that he scheduled them every 20 minutes cause he liked to churn them out. Nice guy.

Emailed my hr rep cs to ask about my clearances and what not. All I have left is my drug test on Monday. I really hope everything goes through okay.. is that the right poc for me to ask if she is my hr rep? I’m not sure who else to email..

When did you complete everything? Your drug test is included in the medical clearance, I believe, so they won’t tell you anything on that yet.

Here's a fun one:

My current employer just got my security paperwork today. My manager ran it by HR before she filled it out, but the HR rep told her to NOT fill it out and to instead have the inquiring party contact some rinky-dink "verify job" company. When I tell my HR rep that that is not what the FAA is looking for, she just keeps giving me the number for the "verify job" company. I called. Guess what? They can't help me.

MMMM.

Not looking for advice or anything. I just wanted to vent / share. I'm sure it'll get worked out. Some coward will sign the goddamn paper.

No worries, you're probably already conditionally cleared anyway. If their attempt goes unanswered they will probably contact your manager by phone or email (if you supplied it), and if that doesn't work they will move on.

Any one fill out any additional info question forms after the medical exam? Got one for allergies and headaches. I dont see anything being an issue since they've already got all the medical documents.
