I know people have gotten an extra couple months, but usually not much more than that. Personally my HR rep was pretty pushy about getting me in OKC as soon as possible

Long before I ever got here yes, but very small percentage compared to how many they sent here. But if you ask me, this is your chance to get off this god forsaken Island. Take it and run. Tell them to send you somewhere else. If you want to come back I'll swap with you.

Got my medical completed on Tuesday...... man what a stressful couple of days its been.
Got to the AME office early, so I relaxed, watch some episodes of The Office, everything was cool. When it was time for my appointment, the nurse came out and informed me there was in issue with my MedExpress account. Apparently my birthday was incorrect (month was 11 instead of 01). Seeing how they use your name and DOB to access your account, they couldn't even get the exam started. So I call the number given to me, and shes out of the office. I call some other people, no one answers so I leave messages. I eventually was informed that, after over an hour of calling, the AME had to reschedule my appointment.
To make a looooong story short, I ended up having to go back to the AME four times over two days, each time expecting to be seen, only to be told the issue still persisted. The last issue was the worst though...
I spoke with someone before my fourth appointment and she said it was fixed. I went to try again, and the issue was STILL there. So I called the lady at the regional field office, and apparently she had changed my DOB to another incorrect DOB. So she had to find someone to change it again, which was difficult as they were all working from home due to the snow storms in NY.
At one point through the process, I was asked to recall my MedExpress application and correct it and resubmit. I did, but everything was correct on my end. So the issue must have been when someone transferred the info from MedExpress into a system on the FAA's side.
All of this stress, coupled with the fact that the nurse at the AME was an absolute b..... butthead (she hung up on the receptionist twice when she heard that I was there asking if they could access my account), had my blood boiling. My heart rate was a little high, but the EKG was fine and my blood pressure was good. The AME said everything looked good and said I should pass.
So thats that. Everything done, just waiting for the call at this point.
