Raising the federal pay cap on day one. That’s literally a monumental act of Congress to raise the entire federal governments pay.

I’ve been advised I’ll be banned if I post it but I appreciate him confirming it for me. People at his facility have reached out to me. He’s not the kind of person who can keep his mouth shut about the dumb things he posts on here. Now he works somewhere where someone scammed the hardship marriage but he swears it’s not him. Wrong. While it is an act of Congress, we only need one thing changed to alter our pay cap since we are on our own pay scale. Far from the entire federal government's pay. There's also already a bill in the house that fixes the cap for a few other federal employees, so the idea is gaining traction. Just have to add us to that bill and get it voted on, hopefully if Dems win the house and keep the Senate.

Are you talking about the federal pay compression bill? If you are you’re an idiot. Also saying all that needs to happen is democrats have to control all three branches of the government and then we have to get added to the bill, that does not sound like a day 1 pay raise to me.

Yes I am. It exempts locality pay from the cap, which would solve our problem forever. It only includes some parts of title 5, though. Adding us is a very small change, which can be done before it is brought for a vote.

Literally anything that we need done by congress would require dems to have all three branches pretty much, and getting that bill passed is the easiest way since it's already something that's being worked on. And has nothing to do with raising salaries of every federal employee (who's the idiot again?). And no one anywhere said any of that would be a day one pay raise, except for you. Fuck off and learn to read you jackass. It's something they can work on, on day one, not magically enact on day one. Which is true. We should be working on it right now, regardless of who is president now, or later, or ever. Rich should be doing this shit already.
