C90 Bid - AGL-AT-22-0073-76612

Hard pass. Facility is trash and being in the suburbs blows.
Being in Chicago district fucking blows. So glad I made it outta there. It is truly the land of people who work in a building a hundred miles away and are gonna have their hands in everything your facility does. They usually like to do things the hard way or that don’t make sense. Absolutely nothing happens without the district’s say so. And the GM dresses like a literal pimp (if it’s still the same dude).

If you’re even remotely interested I would apply now. There is no guarantee the next atm will be as passionate about picking people up
Yeah, ill continue to do apply, I think ive been on the last 3 panels dating back to August of last year. I was just curious what they're looking for. I'm at a level 12 tracon.

Just be patient and keep applying, it’s Chicago district so literally everything has to go all the way up and back down the district office for decision making. They don’t let facility managers have a say in anything and nothing they do makes sense.

My ATM got a call from C90 asking about when i can be released. I’m assuming he doesn’t want to release me till after the summer. When can i expect a TOL?

Per the MOU: Employees not currently assigned to C90/N90, who have been selected for transfer to these facilities shall be given priority release dates. Release dates shall be within three (3) months of selection, or at the election of the Employee no later than twelve (12) months.

Right but wouldn’t an official selection notification be the TOL? Or was the phone call the official notification?
My ATM was confused i didn’t get a TOL yet. In his experience the other facility doesn’t coordinate release dates until the TOL comes

Buddy of mine said this is normal. Think of it as a courtesy call ATM to ATM basically warning them that they're taking you, so be prepared. You should expect HR to get in touch relatively soon with your TOL. Keyword though is relatively...this is the FAA after all. The TOL is the official offer that starts the clock though. At that point, HR gets your actual release date from your ATM and then you get the FOL (they said usually it's a week or so from TOL to FOL depending on security clearance review).

Thanks for that info!
