Maybe then our feckless union leader will see that we always have leverage and we need more than what we're getting. If not I'm sure the FAA and the rest of the country will see that controllers are important 🤷‍♂️

You will never get the appreciation of the "country". The only time the "country" hears anything about you is when something bad happens, and then they hear how much money they make. Now your "union" has been further neutered. FAA controllers (just like the rest of the "country) are currently living off of the grace of the President. Until Congress decides to stand up to him, he can do pretty much anything he wants to do.
