Facility Morale shutdown

How is everyone’s facilities morale holding up? I feel the longer it goes and the more we have sups keeping us on position for 2 hours because of staffing etc my endurance for this is getting worse and worse.

I think my facility’s morale is pretty low. Between sups/ATM doing dumb things in regards to standalone CIC, no schedule being agreed upon yet for next year, and working short all the time, it’s pretty bad. I’ve always liked what I do for work and have never dreaded going into work (besides just rather being home than working). But lately that isn’t the case, I’m pretty fucking burned out. And once the (already too low) paychecks stop coming in, it’s gonna be worse.

It’s just getting harder and harder to show up everyday and get your ass kicked and have ppl warning you’re they’re tracking everyones sick leave etc like we’re being held hostage lol I dunno I’m fucking burnt out

I was curious about that because the way the MOUis written it says everything will be coded as furlough. I wonder how likely that is to change on us

Somehow they have ours coming in specifically to code payroll correctly in case the gov opens up somehow
Our MPA is working the amount of hours it requires to run payroll and that's it.

So, they are “essential-ish?” I didn’t know there was some middle ground between being essential & non-essential for federal employees. They sit at home & then come work the minimum hours to run payroll & then go back home on furlough?

I'd imagine something to do with the OT lawsuit

My facility is holding up okay. Management is being accommodating. Still no 2026 schedule/MOUs. That's going to be a clusterfuck to coordinate with the holiday season approaching. People are on edge though. It doesn't take much to piss someone off, so it seems a little more quiet.

Meh, I've got a paid off house/cars, rental property income, $150k cash emergency fund, and at least $500/month dividends from my portfolio. I can ride this out a long time. Getting close to retiring.

Complaining about 1.5-2 hours on position at your level 4 tinkertoy tower? Shit's normal in understaffed areas of most Zs, which usually happen to have the busiest and/or most complicated traffic.

That's nothing, I have two paid off houses and so many cars and 500k emergency fund and over fourteen dollars per month from my two portfolios and even more rental property income and I'm more vascular than you can believe, not to mention how slow and uncomplicated centers are
