Finally got my Not Hired update lol. Guess that means a new bid is coming in a few weeks.
Have you heard anything about scheduling an appointment yet? I called the regional office and was told that the wait time is going to be about 3 months for us.

Has anyone had any problems with dual citizenship with a friendly country? They made me write something out about being willing to give up my citizenship for security reasons. I mean we had a little falling out back in 1776 but I feel like things have settled since then.

My HR told me over the phone. It was also in one of the attachments in the welcome packet.
Yes, I wrote on my SF form that I was willing to give it up. I've also had a prior public trust investigation a couple years ago where I advised the same. They didn't have me fill out any additional documentation this go around but I got a 'security waiver' as opposed to a 'conditional clearance' which is probably the one they'll give you if they allow you to go before your full investigation is done. See the link below to decipher the difference between the two- then spend too much time overanalyzing. Rinse, repeat.

My HR POC is the one who gave me the class date and FOL. But, I will say my HR POC got changed near the end of the process.

Mine changed 3 times. Your FOL will be any day now possibly today I think they do them at the end of the day between 2-5
Nothing yet, still waiting. I hope 3 months is the case. There are people from the August 2016 bid that still haven’t had their appointment yet. That scares me
How long did yours take??
I completed and submitted the security documents back in late February, so about 3 months. I contacted my HR rep recently, however, and she said she hasn't heard anything from my security POC or medical and doesn't have my file yet. So maybe my security POC told me it was completed so I would stop asking LOL.
FAA Catalog of Training
Find Air Traffic Basic (Enroute) or (Terminal) depending on which you are and click the number in the left column. Find you class date and your number will be next to it. You’ll start at an even number and after basics it’ll go up one number. So my class number is 111488 and after basics it’ll be 111489.

Just recieved my FOL this morning! Whoop! I was worried about medical too! July 18th for Enroute basics. I wasnt told I'd cleared medical or asked if that date would work for me. Dont care though just so pumped I'm in! Also I was southwest region.
