Plenty of private sector jobs are hiring.....

If I didn't have the better part of my adult life invested in this career in some way shape or form I would go to the private sector. As it stands I'm stuck with a shitty situation due to the time invested. For better or worse I'm here for the long haul. Doesn't mean I have to be a bootlicker while doing so.

Truthfully...I'm no sides on this.

So far as I'm concerned the entire system is damaged, that damage is exacerbated by a broken media system that feeds towards it's base. Anyone that claims to have an exact clue who to blame for the length of the shutdown is full of poo.

I dunno.. I think it gives him an excuse to reopen and frame himself as the hero.
"Congress couldn't get it done, they let all the workers suffer. I gave them a chance to do their jobs and they sent nothing to my desk. So now I take the money and reopen the government myself"
I think it's a plausible outcome ?‍♂️
