Now now, in his defense he might have legit thought he was paying union dues and that it automatically starts when you are hired. Not a lot of outreach or education by the union while you are in OKC. I know they do those meet and greets a few times a year which are really well done but they are easy to miss and I don’t think they had any in 2020 before the shut down yet.

while at the same time we shit all over trainees. They do what we expect of them and we get mad when they aren’t doing what we think they should be doing. No wonder they can’t get it right. Smh.

Heard they think they're will be no training locally until at least July and maybe even longer because our traffic just isn't increasing. Absolutely no talk of changing schedules because we still have too many people at work. Some talk of when training restarts satellite trainees will be first as those sectors are currently our busiest.

In general playing by ear. Some Facilities are trying to back to normal scheduling without an uptick in traffic and no staffing issues. There is no real rhyme or reason.

Starting PP15 we’re leaving 5/10 for 5/5. Apparently there has been a slight increase

From the Technical Training Contingency Plan:

“Trainees currently in classroom training or ready to begin classroom training will participate in training 4 hours per day, 4 days per work week, to include appropriate breaks. The remaining duty hours per day will be used for self-study of LOAs, maps, practice applications, etc.

1b) When not participating in classroom training, trainees may be assigned eLMS training, including but not limited to web-based recurrent training, other computer- based training, ASH /SAVI, etc.”

Expect this at centers I would assume.

Meh, if it’s just self study and elms you would have had to do anyway, then I don’t mind. At least at home I can just let the elms run while playing warzone.

That really makes it sound like it’s more than just normally assigned eLMS you’d be doing anyways. It sounds like they’re going to assign you 4 hours a day worth. If we’re not allowed to actually go to work and earn our certs/raises, then what’s the freaking point?
