CNN has been the most resistant to assigning early projections so far. Props to them for that because a lot of the vote isn’t out yet

The question was: if (I'm not saying they will) they lose, will they actually take an honest look at the overall state of their party, campaign strategies, etc for re-evaluation/introspection against one of the easiest to beat opponents in modern history, or are they going to blame something else?
I think it'd be very hard to deny it was a problem in messaging, strategy, and bad candidates (2016 and 2020).

I honestly think the dems shoot themselves in the foot time and again by going hard on the wrong things, and not being progressive in ways that are understandable and relatable for middle America. That's why Trump brand populism is so successful. It's easy to convince people it's the city folk and minorities causing you problems when the party of city folk and minorities isn't doing anything for you that's changing your daily life for the better.

Capital based-Neoliberalism is the dems problem, it's not that they are "too progressive, it's they aren't progressive and populist enough, especially against a dude like Trump. I mean Obama ran on hope and change and what did low wage middle America get? A mandatory insurance bill they can't afford.

That said I think they win tonight, and no, they won't change due to that, and a better, smarter, more savvy Trump will be back sooner rather than later.
