Looking forward to getting to know everyone!


1. Start Date: November 1, 2021
2. Series & Option: 2152 ATCS Trainee, Enroute
3. Duty Location: Oklahoma City, OK (after successfully completing AT Basics virtual class)
4. Projected in-person Academy dates: December 7, 2021 – March 3, 2022

Nice, welcome! I think there's three of us (BlazinAsian1892 ) on here so far.

I'll be driving from VA. Shooting to get there 6 December since FAA allows the day prior as far as housing, as long as the timeline stays the same.

I was leaning towards Kim's as well. The included groceries is a nice bonus to help save some of the per diem.

I received my FOL on the 7th, signed and returned it back to RK. I didn't get the drug test email asking for my availability until Friday evening. Toss that with the holiday weekend, I probably won't take the test until Wednesday or Thursday.

Yeah I saw that, it’s nice of them to include groceries.

I got my FOL the 7th and haven’t heard about the drug test. I had taken one fairly recently though because my very first one expired

From your signature, your most recent drug test should be fine. I think they're good for 6-months. Mine is definitely expired haha.

Nice! Seems like I'm the only one having to redo their test haha. Just got confirmation for my test appointment on the 13th, so plenty of time ahead of the start date.

You mean for the MMPI? I didn't have any issues with mine. I've read tier 2 can dramatically increase the wait time for a class though, couldn't imagine being in that waiting pool.

Oh that was fast! And yeah that’s what I meant. It is terrible, Covid slowed it down even more so I’m glad I’m done with that process!

So far on this site, I think the others may not be a part of the forum. It'd be weird to start adding new people when we're almost 15 days out from the start of Basics, so I figure our class has already been filled, just us three are part of the site.

Welcome! That's makes four of us on here. I believe Dougie787 and I have considered Kim's Place. I've reached out to them and filled out a questionnaire, but nothing has been set. I know we have a few classes coming in right behind us, so I wanted to get the ball rolling a little bit.

I was looking at possibly 1 Amonet or Crashpads. Just from the reviews on this site idk if anyone here has heard anything about them
