my husband got an academy class date of august 19th. I'm just super skeptical having worked for the FAA so long, but I guess we'll see!

What was his original class date before COVID? Is it for basics?

not sure about thousand oaks, I don't know anyone personally who does. A lot of us live in Santa Clarita, its only like a 35 minute drive. I used to live in Lancaster and sometimes that took 20 minutes to drive across town so its not really a big deal.

His original class date was April 16th. He's already completed and passed an online basics class, and now is doing this new online class they made up called "Intro to En Route online". Honestly IMO everyone going to the Academy during this time is benefitting from this. They're getting a ton of extra study and review time. Edit: his new class date is for the En Route part only
