Yeah and if you didn't have a CTO they would have asked for documentation for your RAPC. It wasn't your CTO they needed, it was proof of being a certified military controller. Considering I don't have and have never held a CTO and yet started at D1.

I love the FAA, I offered up my pink card which had my GCA and ground ratings at my military facility, but apparently that was not acceptable. I guess it just depends on who your HR rep is.

That’s probably because the FAA doesn’t count gca or ground control ratings as qualifying experience.

The problem was your CTO was your only qualifying experience.
