They really should start allowing Z swaps, considering a center CPC-IT takes about a year to check out. Hell, those 15 ERRs to ZOA could have been at least halfway checked out by the time they'll even be released.

The pass rate for the last 2 classes went from 20% to 87.5%. I’m no statistician, but that should be a red flag. No way the last class just happened to be filled with idiots, and this one with born-to-be controllers.

And like any center, it depends which area you go to within the center. Two areas (arguably 3) currently take an average of 6 years to check out from AG to CPC. Meanwhile you have other areas at the facility that are checking people out in under a year. But I'll also just point out that there is a reason so many controllers here choose to live 45 min to an hour away, and make the daily commute, rather than live in the high desert of Palmdale, even if the housing market down the hill in Santa Clarita is insane. And especially with inflation, good luck finding a reasonable apartment rental on your AG pay.
