So I filled all my paperwork with HR. They signed and I signed the required documents. Do I need to let the union know at all? Also, if you're selected, how do you know. Do you call, check your email, or do they call you, etc.? Would you call Regional HR to make sure they receive your paperwork?

Once you’ve submitted it via fax you’re done. You can verify receipt with your HR. No one ever needs to be notified outside of whoever is signing your papers.
If you’re selected HR will contact you within two weeks, but the selections are released before then so you’ll be able to find out normally the day of the panel.

Thanks for moving this to proper thread, sorry about that. Roger that though. They told me to mail it into the regional hr not fax? Do we have to fax it? So I missed this first quarter panel for 2018, when's the next?

Just to thawrt any disappointment... Assuming you want to be selected for next week panels, your paperwork had to have been sent to HR by Nov 13th... Otherwise you won't be considered until next panel

Yessir, unfortunately wasn't CPC yet by the deadline and didn't wanna stir any feathers being so close. When's the next panel drawing or whatever it's called?

Dates will be posted after the December panel is done. But next panel is unofficially in February.
