What is the pending list... very ominous. Recieved a TOL in October, radio silence ever since. I think HR went NORDO on me.Im still waiting, contacted HR rep, they told me that they were going to try send out EODs by the end of Jan. they also said that theyve been backed up, but that I was in the pending list.
Genuinely curious, why does it say you’re at ZME when you’re still in the hiring process? Did you already get placed because of a hardship or spousal accommodation or something? What is the pending list... very ominous. Recieved a TOL in October, radio silence ever since. I'm actually asking for my wife. But HR was this useless 8 years ago you get more answers on here then calling.Genuinely curious, why does it say you’re at ZME when you’re still in the hiring process? Did you already get placed because of a hardship or spousal accommodation or something?
Gotcha ? I was so confused haha that makes more sense. Yeah, definitely get a lot more answers on here for sure!I'm actually asking for my wife. But HR was this useless 8 years ago you get more answers on here then calling.
What your rep emailed you blew my mind.... maybe they filled that class with people waiting from the ‘19 bid and then had 3 or so spots leftover? It goes by whoever clears first?? No way. I was all clear on Dec 26 and there were def people here that cleared before me even! Maybe I’m in denial..... your rep knows more than me and I’m just speculating since that’s all I have left to do. I think there’s a dart board in OKC with our names on it and they blindfold HR reps and whoever’s name it hits gets the spot. Then they all lurk on here and laugh at our reactions. That makes more sense to me than what your rep said.I was really hoping to be in that class, have another girl to study with 🙂

TOLs didn’t go by last name.maybe it goes by last name like with tols
There’s no order or reasoning behind anything. Some people just now got their EODs and CILs. No reason why they were over a month or two later than literally everyone else here. You’re either lucky or you’re not. Not trying to shit on anyone with a class date either! Just FYI. You guys are the lucky ones this time around and we will all get there. I can pretend to be interested at work for a few more months.... this is just about what that HR rep said that threw me for a loop. I asked mine for an update and she told me there were delays due to the ronies but nothing about the class dates being full. She seemed optimistic that’d I’d get a date sometime before my drug test expires in June... which directly conflicts with what the other HR rep said.maybe it goes by last name like with tols
I don’t know lol, I guess it’s another way of saying “you should be next” time frame? Idk which sucksWhat is the pending list... very ominous. Recieved a TOL in October, radio silence ever since. I think HR went NORDO on me.
If there’s no trace then I would have checked no. One of the guys I knew from school said yes to that question a couple years ago from casual use and I don’t think he ever made it through. Not sure if it was because of that specifically or not though.I was wondering if anybody has any insight on the "illegal use of drugs or drug activity" portion of the EQIP. I chose to be completely transparent about my past drug use which only comes down to smoking marijuana occasionally from the point of high school ( 2008 ) until late 2019. I haven't touched it in over a year and I don't intend on trying it again, but I am worried that I will be DQ'ed because of my transparency.
That's rough. This would be a massive downer if I get DQ'd for being honest. If there’s no trace then I would have checked no. That sucks! I got lucky and got a facility very close to me to get me scheduled after some help from a very kind gentleman at another tower. I appreciate the replies though!I didn’t encounter any proctors that were teleworking, but I would suggest calling the proctors at different times of the day. I wouldn’t count on them returning your calls. I had called one proctor, not gotten an answer, then called again about an hour later and they answered. Also, emailing can’t hurt, but be prepared to have to call proctors that are farther from your area. You might need to travel a little in order to get it done sooner rather than later. I had to drive over 3+ hours (twice) to get my MMPI done.

Hopefully "anticipating changes to the academy class schedule" means more classes and/or larger class sizesSo with all the activity yall were seeing, I just had to email my POC this morning for an update - it had been exactly 2 weeks since I heard anything, anyway. Attached is her response to my inquiry. Not sure if that means a big change and a big delay, or just a minor one, but I'm happy to have an idea of where I'm at again.
You made the right choice. To lie about such a long time frame of use would be a huge no-no and you'd have it hanging over your head the rest of your career.
This is, of course, me speculating: I don't think you will be DQ'd for that. It's possible because of the sheer amount of usage. But if you truly quit over a year ago (before or when you applied, right?) that's a great signal to whoever will read your e-qip. I used to work for a LEA years ago, and I have several friends and acquaintances who are police officers. If some of them can be hired with a prior habit of MJ use, I'd wager you've got as good a chance.
