March 19 2018 prior experience bid

My first offer was rescinded for N90, received it 9/5/17, time left on contract until 7/25/18. Received another TOL 1/5/18 for N90, called and talked to PAM, she didn’t help btw, talked to Charlene she said I was good. Received CIL 3/8/18, inside of my 120 window which includes terminal leave. I think once you get closer to your 6 month mark they start reissuing TOL’s.

So was the 2nd TOL from a separate bid or from your original application? And if it was from the original application was that attachment you posted sent to you after they rescinded your original TOL?
I’m just wondering if they kept your application on file until you were within the 120 day window.

An allsources bid does not have the 120 requirement, the previous experience bid does. It has nothing to do with claiming veterans preference.

I’ve read that section under the requirements and required docs on the last prior exp bid and have asked on the forums and always get mixed answers..
But for what it’s worth to anyone outside the 120 day window, I have an old coworker that applied on the last prior experience bid in April with a separation date in Nov of the same year and he was picked up and starts this May direct to his facility. So I would apply, the FAA needs folks and you don’t wanna be kicking yourself for not giving yourself a chance.

Have you guys noticed that on usajobs you now have that eligibility section where you can choose if you're "reinstatement eilgible"? Has that always been there?

What is the "date of certification"? If I am six months out, but by the time the job announcement closes, and my resume actually gets looked at, I could very well be within 120 days.

A co-worker of mine applied to the April bid last year and he doesn't separate until September of this year. He got a TOL this past January for that April bid. He called HR to let them know he wasn't out until later this year. They told him that he was good to go and contact them when he was 3 months out from separating. Another guy I work with now was also outside of 120 days when the April bid closed. About the time he got his TOL, he was inside the window. HR sent him his CIL and he completed everything. Now he is waiting on a list. I have heard of people getting their TOLs rescinded in the past, but no one that I know personally.

It was from my original application I literally just took an L in my mind. And low and behold they reissued it.

Has anyone applied while stationed overseas? Just want to know how it went for you and how much HR would work with you since you have to do the some of the clearance stuff stateside.
