The adult in the room! Here is the video proof that Rich will reopen the contract and the prime focus will be increasing our pay through any and all means possible. Rich and Mick have now openly said they will open the contract and focus on pay. Nick has proposed a contract extension until 2029 and Nick and Jmaal have said they’d like to get academy grads more money.
This is a ratification vote of an extension of the contract we all asked for last time. A vote for Nick and Jamaal is a vote to extend until 2029 a vote for Rich and Mick is a vote to get a new better contract. Use your vote wisely and don’t be complacent!

It feels like the only reason that Rich is offering to open is because the masses have forced his hand. The pressure exerted upon all the candidates has been enormous and they risk the wrath of the membership by extension.

This is true, Rich was 100% adamant that he would not negotiate under Trump whatsoever as last as early March. Apparently he changed him mind after getting lots of feedback on it. Hope he is real when he says he is an extend never guy now.
Thst does just goto show you despite all this pressure and the clear want of the membership to negotiate a new contract, Nick still made the motion to extend. The words extend the contract should not have come out of any candidates mouth after the clear message the membership wants a new better contract.

The amount of vitriol from the Nick side is nothing short of amazing. I saw a post this morning on the r/atc2 comparing the conduct of Nick's and Paul's campaigns, there seem to be way too many parallels...

I disagree strenuously about Rich, not in favour of Nick either, but everyone is allowed a vote.

Can you ask Rich why he waited until January to ask Whitaker to open the contract? Why not ask in the fall of last year when Whitaker first got the job. Thanks.
I could ask my rvp I guess. Rinaldi asked for the extension and he got it. Why would any employer just want to open a contract early. Why didn’t Nick make a motion on the first day of his term to have Rich ask Whittaker to open it. None of that has to do with this video. Rich has said, on video to all the members, he is opening the contract and focusing on pay, that’s all I care about.
Paul extended for 6 years and walked away with a six figure consulting gig, a nice little go fund me, and the under the table cash he got from the agency. Thanks a lot mob boss Rinaldi.

I wish this was true but what % of controllers actually look here or reddit? It can't but very high. I have a feeling that the majority doesn't even know who JD is because he barely put stuff out. I have no idea which way this election will go.

I’d wager that most in here are lurkers who don’t engage at all. Same with Reddit. So we really have no idea how many see what’s going on with the election. All I know is these forums have some weight, remember the whole razewen thing that swept across the internet.
