Not getting vaccinations is why polio still exists. People not getting vaccinated made covid worse, there’s zero scientific discussion against that point.

I’m not arguing the legality of it. I think employment at will has already been discussed above and employers can fire people for any reason except for race, religion, national origin, etc. I just don’t agree with the mandate ethically. If I do an individual risk assessment and I’m in a low risk age and have no conditions which would make Covid worse, then I should be able to make the decision not to take it and accept the consequences should I get the virus. I got the vaccine because, at the time, I was able to train and get raises. That was worth it to me.

But for the very few people who can not get the vaccine due to underlying medical reasons, some of who you may or may not work with, or people who have family with those things, is it not immoral to not get a vaccine to protect them?

Yeah We’re not being physically restrained to a chair and stabbed with a needle, but the choices are Get vaccinated, or Don’t and lose your job. When you’re putting food on the table for your family and paying the mortgage with that salary what choice do you really have? Again, put the legality aside. That’s not a decision anyone should make but the person getting the vaccine.

I’ve been waiting and wanted more time to see the long term side effects if there are any.

What I don’t get is blaming the unvaxxed. So if you are at risk and get the vax shouldn’t you be protected?

If it’s because the unvaxxed can potentially cause more mutations? Does the vaccine stop mutations?

I’ve read articles with biases that swings both directions so that’s where my hesitancy comes from and I believe the best thing for me, young/healthy/fit, is to wait for MORE science.
