Any rumors of the harvard map being tossed and restarting training for those that were recalled recently?

Now that Im back, I dside most days anyhow and my exposure is the same as if I was training. Im sure plenty of other trainees in the agency are in the exact same position as I am. Makes zero sense to not train people that are in the area every day anyhow.

I don’t understand why your wife wasn’t recalled. I thought they recalled everyone that had a cert in the last round

Her certs timed out in May, before they were allowing folks in for over the shoulders, and before D sides were recalled for staffing at her facility. They only ever recalled people with *current* certs. It sounds like she's home until they decide it's time to restart A side classes.

Our facility is in the red and we’re still training the guys in the building. It sounds like it depends on what the facility wants to do.

This is what I’ve been seeing. My facility isn’t training but others who are worse on the map, are bringing people in and training.

I have been working as a DSide with no training. The excuse right now is we’re 5 on, 5 off so we don’t have enough staffing.

Same with me except we’re working regular 5/2 schedules and have been told we’re waiting for the harvard map or another facility to resume normal training first.

If I was In your situation I would be raising hell. If you have adequate staffing to train and you’re working as a D-Side and not following social distancing guidelines already there’s no reason not to train.

Everyone in my area agrees but that’s the guidance that’s been pushed down from national. Especially true though when we’ve been having staffing issues and I could at least be certified on one rside by now to actually be of use.

My facility recalled all the trainees to do their classroom but we only have space to train a couple trainees at a time so they sent the ones who haven’t been here as long home while the other ones train. When they move forward in training I think they’ll bring the others back.

Well here's to hoping with holiday leave over we'll restart training fully at my facility.

The national MOU says people who are not currently training cannot start until the county your facility in isn’t red... holiday leave has nothing to do with it.

They also said I wouldn’t be back in the building till my facility was in the green or yellow.

I came back in October and ive been training. Cpc-it no positions

You can d side 25 hours a week 3 feet from someone. But if they sit 3 feet behind you it’s illegal

I would raise hell if I had an assist open but the guy qualified on ground wasn’t allowed to be trained.

FWIW I’m a high risk CPC who came back in November and am training people nonstop. Luckily we are still 5/5 or I probably wouldn’t have come back.
