True, but isn’t there less information needed for a Public Trust vs. Secret? I’ve only submitted for a Secret.

I think it's 5yrs for the public trust vs 10 yrs for secret. You should just have to update the time period from last submitted up to the present.

I don't know if its a full secret clearance, but it't not the reduced one (SF86a?) they used to give for terminal. It's all the higher clearance now.

I work with a guy who has had a Secret for 11 years and JUST renewed it. He still had to go thought the process and they lost his fingerprints. ITs a painful process. I think the difference is, they do an actual interview for secret

I think the interview depends on certain factors. I got my clearance within the past 6 months and I didn't have an interview.

You don’t get a facility list until you’re being placed. You have months to go before then.

That should be listed on your TOL.

My TOL stated terminal.....maybe they’re awaiting your survey with your prior experience to decide?

Which makes me ask: “Why do we fill out a survey with our experience when our résumé was already submitted?”

I just spoke with Pam to confirm receipt of my OF-306, and she stated it will probably be a few weeks before they send out any CIL’s.

Slow and steady. Lol

Anyone ask if they are still handing out TOLs? So far this has been the weirdest hiring cycle I've seen.
