And absolutely if Trump last year did this mandatory Vax through an EO NATCA would be fighting it... are we really going to try and pretend that NATCA is not politically aligned with one party? I can't argue with any of that, and yes it's hot garbage, but again, conflating all the work the fda/cdc does with the crony capitalism aspect of how our system functions as an argument against vaccines, vaccine effectiveness, or the good intentions of the people in those fields actually doing the work and NOT for a profit incentive of some sort or another is a bad argument, reference the FDA saying boosters maybe aren't necessary when pfizer wanted to turn your immune system into a subscription service.


I wholeheartedly agree that needs to change, as yes on top of being immoral it reduces public trust in the system, as we've been seeing a lot in recent decades on a variety of things.

Eh he’s right though. An employer has long had the right to make requirements for new and/or continued employment unless the contract specifically says otherwise. The joy of “at will” employment that the right has been fighting for the last 40+ years means you abide by your workplaces rules or they can fire you simple as that so long as their rule doesn’t violate a standing contract. So now people can enjoy their conservative cake by either getting vaccinated per the perfectly legal workplace rule, or not get vaccinated and find another job.
