Leaving NATCA outside January

Got a guy at my facility going on his 5th waiver. 61 and controlling ?
I’ve heard of a guy at SCT. Got there around 2010 give or take a few years. Arrived in his early 60’s, checked out within a year, then retired several years later. Oldest person to ever be checked out at SCT

Did his first name start with a D and last name with an H?
I worked with a guy at S56 who was close to retirement when he came from SCT, hated S56 (mostly because he was a douche and nobody liked him) and made a ton of noise about going back.

Close. DB I don’t know his whole story just that he was an old PATCO guy

I wonder what the actual numbers ended up being???

they are keeping that bombshell # Top Secret , but word at NIW was PAC money plummeted almost 20%, from $ 9.6 million per year down to 8.1 . dropping faster than the VDV!

Whats even better is some of the PATCO guys have been making center money even though they washed out.
There was a guy at my first facility that was caught there during reclass after washing from a Z... Clearing 136k before OT and all the premiums... He still bitched about the traffic. Literally made more than everyone else and the ATM.

Eh, not quite. If the dues withholding was agreed to prior to Aug 10, 2020, you have to withdraw under the established rules. For any withholding started on or after Aug 10, 2020, you can withdraw at any point after one year from initiating the withholding.

Also, you can still file it at any point, it just has a date window that it becomes effective and dues stop being withheld.

OPM's version of the form currently fails to load for me, but GSA's works fine. Any known difference? GSA's shows last revised April 2011 so I don't know if there is a more current form.

Cancellation of Payroll Deductions for Labor Organization Dues

Does anyone know if it will also stop the PAC contribution listed as "association dues" on our ELS?

I didn't find anything more recent.
I would think PAC contrib is just a standard allotment, no? Dues and PAC have to be separate legally, so I don't think one impacts the other.

If in the past you signed an authorization for deductions from your paycheck for a PAC and you wish to end that authorization, write to your employer and union telling them you want these PAC contributions to stop.
