June raise

Wondering if anyone has info on this. I made CPC within the last pay period which was the first full pay period of June where we got the 1.6 raise. Should the 1.6 be added to my new salary with the CPC raise since I made cpc within that pay period or the old CPCit salary?

But the pay period is June 5-18 so if you CPC within that timeframe, let’s say the 10th. You don’t get the raise on your new salary?

You would have needed to be certified on or before June 4 to be eligible for the full raise. Otherwise it is based on previous salary.

June 4th bro
Fuck me

You will get the 1.6% first. And then the CPC raise will be on top of the 1.6%.
Looks like answers are conflicting on this. I got the raise on my cpcit salary and went to the the bottom of the band according to the les that came out today even though I certified in the pay period…

That’s how it is man. You need to be certified before the pay period to get the raise.

I’m pretty sure certification pay raises are given to the day. Not the pay period. You might see some hours at the old hourly pay and some at the new.
Nope my entire check looking at the les is based on my old pay with the 1.6 added. No CPC pay or raise added to it. So idk if I should be saying something

Depends on the day you certified. What date was it? I looked at my last cert and I got 3 days at my new salary and 7 at the old. CIP changed for 3 days too by a nickel an hour! ?

Question it with your local team and get an answer. Worst thing they'll say is that it's correct, best thing is that they'll say you've been paid correctly.

Local says speak to management and management is clueless

So depending on your RDOs you should have at least two days at your new CPC pay. I would definitely get with your secretary and sup to see when your paperwork was filed etc. But there is a chance it will be amended on your next pay stub. I’d probably wait for that before blowing it up.

I wouldn’t sweat the 1.6% much. I was worried about it one of my previous moves and after doing the match it didn’t really change much either way. Especially when you break it down by pay period. Unless you were a developmental instead of CPC-IT and the 1.6% disappears at the bottom of the band. Then that sucks.

Yeah it’s around $100 more a check so it kind of sucks being that I certified right at the cusp
