June Pay Raise

I have finally reached the top of my level pay band. I’ve heard conflicting information regarding the june pay raise. Is the june raise of 1.6% a lump sum since I’m maxed out, or does half of the 1.6% go as a lump sum and half goes towards increasing salary? Ive heard multiple controllers tell me both
