Going in for my MMPI in a few.

Don't overthink anything. Go in, sit down and take the test. Just put what comes to your mind right away. Everything is a simple True or False. If you have to reach for an answer, and think....."well.....umm...." then you know you are heading in the wrong direction already. It took me about 25-30 minutes to finish the 560+ questions.

Don't think about anything you have heard negatively concerning the test. Just simply take it. Be honest. Don't spend more than 10 seconds on any question.

Hopefully they tell you that you are allowed to NOT answer a certain number of questions and still be considered score able, I was never told that and answered all 560+ and still cleared it.

You should have absolutely no problems. Not even a reason to tell you "good luck", because it is that straight forward.

Thanks a bunch!

Couldn’t have said it better myself. Took mine today and that’s exactly how mine went.

Man, what a crazy game it has been so far. Just noticed that today is 7 months since the application opened!

eQIP: Done! MMPI-2: Done! Fingerprints, drug test tomorrow. Medical in a few days, then the next wait begins. Lets all hope we clear our medicals and MMPI's without too many hitches 😀

I feel like all things considered the pace is moving pretty fast for the majority of us. I'm interested to see who gets the first FOL and how quickly (or not) those come.

Take this with a grain of salt it’s from stuck mic but here are the “updated” numbers from our bid.

I live in the Houston, Texas area and am having a very difficult time finding a police station or other facility that will take my fingerprints. I have called around to about 10 different stations and nobody offers fingerprints as a service.

My local police department referred me to a store that offers fingerprinting, but does not accept the SF87 form but instead said that I had to use their particular form, the FD-258.

I’m at a loss at the moment. I emailed my security POC for further assistance, but in the meantime I would love to see if anyone else is currently in the Houston area and where did you go to get fingerprints.

I was going to try the DPS have you tried that yet? I'm in the same area so curious to know.

I used My FBI Report - Fingerprinting to look up a location to do it. Houston seems to have a few available. Have you called the ones listed?

You're not supposed to do the drug test before the medical but you do you

I was told at my MMPI to expect it to be about 4 months from here... that would mean academy around June... from everything I know/have read that doesn’t seem right... I was thinking October at the earliest for anyone from this bid..

I submitted the fd258 without any issues. Most places take them digitally and have this card in their printers.

I was reading on the other site guys getting dates 1-2 months after medical. Not sure what bid, probably older bids, but 4 months doesn't seem unrealistic based on classes that has gone in this past year

TOL: 1/16/18
CIL: 1/25/18
SF86: 2/1/18
MMPI: 2/9/18
Medical: 2/14/18
Drug Test: 2/15/18

Just a dumb way to get in trouble for going against what they say to do

The email says "Schedule your drug test now by contacting [agency redacted]. They are available 24-hours a day/7-days a week. You are required to take a drug test within 5 business days of completing your physical examination. "

It said nothing about not doing it before your physical exam. It does however say "schedule your drug test now." Doubtful anyone is getting in trouble, lol, the worst is they make me take it again.
