She called, i missed the call. I called back three times in about 20 minutes and got in touch to go over everything. She said she'll be emailing me an FOL tomorrow, there is more EODs stuff to do, and I'll get a welcome packet

I got an email (from LM) saying I would get a class date once she got my Official Transcripts, which I plan on getting to her tomorrow. Totally shocked. I'm Terminal btw

Any guess as to how many eods/cil have been sent out already? Seeing people getting class dates already got me more anxious than I was already.

Excited for you guys that are getting class dates. This is definitely not normal especially given the perceived backlog. I don't think I've ever seen someone get a class date a week after medical. Unheard of. Make the most out of the opportunity and get out there a crush it. You have unlimited resources throughout this site to help you throughout the process. Take advantage of it. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this is the greatest job in the world. Good luck to all of you.

Does anyone know if you need official transcripts if you applied with work experience and only went to College for a year or two? I'm still in the process of waiting for the second 2 emails right now so not that it matters right now.

You should only need transcripts if you applied using college as a qualification. I've got 90 hours but used work and the military. I haven't needed transcripts yet. All I've got left is medical.

Question: Does the FAA try to push as many controllers through OKC as fast as they can? IE max our enrollment for 6 months then there are no classes for a couple months. Or since this bid was lighter on the hiring offer less classes so there is a continuous stream of classes until the next bid gets hired on?

Any idea on the backlog of the last bid? I saw a post a while back about it, but it seems like most of those people if not all are tier 2.

I applied on work/school combo and my HR rep asked for my official transcripts in her EODS email with the AT Basics form. If you qualify on work alone/ they haven’t asked for transcripts you don’t need them..

I have my medical and drug test at the end of this week, finished my equip 3 weeks ago and my employer and references still haven’t received anything..

The academy has been at max capacity for the past 3 years and will continue to run at max capacity for the foreseeable future. Last week there were just over 800 people remaining from the previous bid who had not been hired yet.
