Hey dudes, for those of you that did your medical already. Just a quick question how long did it take? Not including waiting etc. I was kinda surprised how not in depth it was? I wasn't questioned on anything medically related in the past and thought I might be. After the nurse did the EKG etc I talked to the doc for maybe 5 minutes and just got a "ok you're all good on this end" I expected more?

My Class 2 medical for my Commercial Pilot license basically consisted of the nurse taking my weight, the doc asking me a few medical background questions, checking my vital signs and a slap on the back (although I'd bet that older pilots get a bit more scrutiny). Compared to that, this medical was actually pretty in-depth.

If you’ve received your EODS stuff you’re fine. Heck, after getting a TOL you’re fine. They can only send a number of CILs out a month. It’s a game of hurry up and wait. It sucks, but it’ll come eventually!

Sorry for sounding like a broken record about my security POC but does anyone else have MG for a security contact?? She’s in the southern region for some reason even though I am not.

Yeah, I'm in the Southern region and my medical is being processed in the Great Lakes region. Go figure.

I did not, I elected to take it. Someone dropped out of the class pretty late, so I was contacted to fill it. I was also given a class date for late March if I couldn't make Feb 23.

So I sent an email to the AGL email just curious about a general update, I got a response saying I didnt pass my MMPI, and said they never received my notes about ambien or VA disability. I've never been prescribed ambien and I don't have VA disability? Um..... Now what? I have a common name maybe they confused me with someone else?

Scratch that. She replied to my email in like 30 seconds lol. Someone with the same name as me. Sorry other David G! My heart literally sank to my feet when I read that first sentence about not passing the MMPI.
