Second urinalysis conducted today. Had to make sure not to get too hydrated this time around...ha. The contact I spoke with at FAA said I should be back on track for a class date by the end of the week if it comes back good, so I'm happy.

Congrats! When did you finish your CIL?? I finished mine a week ago today- hoping to hear something soon..

Thanks! I finished the CIL on 2/16 and received FOL on 3/13. I’m from the western pacific region if that helps. Medical cleared on 3/6.

I finished all mine up on 2/27. I have my conditional security clearance, and HR is waiting to receive my medical. To give you more of a timeline.

I drink a lot of water as well, luckily didn't have to redo it. I wonder how much water it takes to cause a diluted sample. Were you pounding Dasani's an hour before you went lol?

During my test the lady literally gave me a bottle of water RIGHT before the test, she said "you need to be hydrated." Soo..guess I may or may not have to repeat

Nice. Thanks. I may be the only one who hasn’t emailed anyone asking if I cleared any of the steps. I figured I’d just wait to hear one way or another, especially since class dates are way earlier than expected. Hoping to make it into a June class date..

I think you’ll be just fine way before that pending any other issues with the pace they’re moving at with everyone.

Did you not email them prior to send your medexpress stuff? They didn't send mine either until the 4th email I sent, received it the day before my appointment.

I filled out and submitted my medexpress a week before my appointment. I didn't know we were supposed to let medical know we finished the medexpress? I received and filled out medexpress before my appointment but whoever is supposed to give the AME my file never gave it to them or something.

Edit: Although now that I think about the AME had my file and attached my EKG and all the physical information onto my file in his computer. Maybe his receptionist messed up? I'm not entirely sure. Is there a number for medical I can call that anybody knows of??

Edit 2: AME had my info and my file the FAA just did not get around to sending him authorization for him to be paid for seeing me. I think I'm good!

You don't need to let medical know you finished your medxpress, you just need to give them your confirmation number from medxpress at the beginning of your appt. You can inquire to the 9-agl- email to see if your medical was received/if there are any problems

If it's nice and yellow you're probably fine. If it's very light or clear, you have a chance of it coming back dilute. They want to make sure you're not trying to cover up drug use by drinking copious amounts of water. No big deal, just was a surprise to me.

I was contacted today and advised I need to retake urinalysis as well to do it being diluted. I was literally pounding water all morning so I would have something to urinate( basically following the same suggestion that the nurse at the flight surgeon gave me prior to arriving for my medical just days before).

That's what I thought, but they emailed back with conditions I needed to complete that my POC still hasn't emailed me about.
