Welp, hate to be the tech ops SSC in charge of this FAA-backed belly up false promise right about now…
Imagine being at a level 11 tower and reporting landing assured so the consolidated approach control can bring in the next arrival lol.
It’s not just the airlines that are gonna be hot over this one, I can’t imagine all the passengers and the city losing money from the abysmal arrival rate. Not to mention all involved in the bullshit politics to make this move happen that is now effectively shitting the bed.
This story (finally) made it out to the media...and they quoted this site. Good thing someone is doing their homework and turning to other sources besides the FAA and Union for facts.
