It's Over (Finally)

Who said I wasn’t outraged when both of those happened as well? Do yall just think nobody can be an independent anymore?

Also, way to deflect from a valid counterpoint lol.
were you outraged?

that wasnt deflection, i thought you were talking about preventable murders.....

We've been cooked for years at this point, it gets better once you've accepted it and stop pushing others to do this job, like seriously don't encourage others to do this job if they can do something else.
I don't understand the not encouraging others to do this job. What is the reason for that. I'm sorry if it was some obvious sarcasm because if it was, it went over my head.

Tariffs were heavily utilized in his first term between 2016 and 2020 and inflation remained stable around the federal reserve’s long term target of 2%.

Nice to talk to you again, blarg. Hope you’re well.

Wait I thought inflation was only caused by money supply? Oh shi

Or instead of preaching one outdated economist's single sentence that is obviously wrong, you could listen to the 20+ nobel winning economists who have clearly stated what the results of Trump's tariffs will be. Yes, he used some before, but nothing compared to his proposed plan (60% on everything from China, and up to 20% on everything else? insane).
Who knows. You pick and choose whatever seems to sound right at the time to support your argument.
Anyway, my point was those things will clearly massively increase your costs, which they will, and voting for him to reduce them is idiotic. Most of the things you use day to day come from China, or at least parts of them do.

Maybe none of it will matter because Trump may or may not do anything based on whatever random whim strikes him at the time.

Brainwashed fuck

Yeah... perhaps I was wrong on the inflation thing. I'm not an economist.

But what I do know is that if Kamala Harris had just a few more accents in her tool belt, she might have won.

I wouldn’t recommend this job to anyone with the way things have been and are going.
Less pay and a better quality of life can be had elsewhere. This schedule alone blows for anyone used to 9-5 M-F.

Not to mention, this is also a job with 0% chance of any work from home assignments which has become a major benefit in the private sector. The pay and benefits with our job would be great if I could sit in my undies at home responding to emails 2 or 3 days a week.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that we are gonna skate through this just fine. No major waves will come at us. Fear mongering will get us no where.

Trump has bigger fish to fry than us.
Yup in the bigger fish to fry. Screw the UN, eurotard countries coming after Elon, people coming after RFK, screw big pharma. MAHA

So you’re telling me committing a political coup against a sitting president, then installing the most unpopular VP in modern American history as the nominee 100 days before the election isn’t a winning strategy? What a shocker.

Clearly she should've just raped more women and committed more fraud. You guys must be proud. I sure am proud of you.

Brainwashed fuck
you talking to me? lmao, if so please explain how stating facts is being brainwashed. But it sure explains a lot about you and about half the country.

Who would have thought not having a primary and appointing the most unpopular VP in recent history to the top of the ticket without any input from voters. While selecting a VP running mate from a safe blue state and not taking interviews off script was a recipe to lose. I’m just glad that NATCA endorsed Biden and Harris immediately without any contact negotiations or discussions with mayor Pete on better workplace conditions. Can’t wait for an email from Nick Daniels extending the contract to save the union and the next CFS announcement so the same 2 people can get drunk and gamble in Vegas with union dues.

It would appear that extending the current contract is the best option now. Because if it's not extended now we will all wish it had got extended once we attempt to negotiate with Trump and fail miserably like when NATCA tried negotiating with W Bush which failed and created the white book. This current contract will actually start looking pretty good.

Our fearless union leader better communicate something about still negotiating under a Trump administration.

In the mean time, get your paperwork ready to leave the union because it’ll get extended.
With Trump in charge extending the current contract now is a MUCH better option then what Trump will have for us in 2026

The Trump/Daniels “brown book”

- PPL usage will be subject to staffing per his NEB suggestions
- NCEPT will be paused until national facility staffing reaches an average of 90% - Trish expert opinion
- controllers will be required to work 80% of their shift on position regardless of traffic/staffing
- a work group will consisting of 5 NATCA members from the worst staffed shit holes in the NAS to meet at times undisclosed to collaborate on workplace diversity CBIs
- a contract raise of .69% every year while health benefits rise 10% annually
- FERS contributions increase to 7%
- prime time bidding will be staffing permitted
- PAC contributions will go towards a union yacht purchase to save on rental fees
- OJTI premiums will be 20% until the trainee reaches a TRB where the OJTI will be subjected to fines for every -25 that wasn’t done within 5 minutes of your go home time.

John Carr ran advertisements against the incumbent, while this was not the only factor it was a huge one. The FAA went into negotiations to push the Union back and there were other legalities at play that handicapped us.
