It's Over (Finally)

With Trump in charge extending the current contract now is a MUCH better option then what Trump will have for us in 2026
Is this even an option?
Also, my pessimism stems from that every branch is red.... so if they walk all over us and do whatever they want in spite of the contract, who exactly puts a stop to that?

The Trump/Daniels “brown book”

- PPL usage will be subject to staffing per his NEB suggestions
- NCEPT will be paused until national facility staffing reaches an average of 90% - Trish expert opinion
- controllers will be required to work 80% of their shift on position regardless of traffic/staffing
- a work group will consisting of 5 NATCA members from the worst staffed shit holes in the NAS to meet at times undisclosed to collaborate on workplace diversity CBIs
- a contract raise of .69% every year while health benefits rise 10% annually
- FERS contributions increase to 7%
- prime time bidding will be staffing permitted
- PAC contributions will go towards a union yacht purchase to save on rental fees
- OJTI premiums will be 20% until the trainee reaches a TRB where the OJTI will be subjected to fines for every -25 that wasn’t done within 5 minutes of your go home time.
No, it needs to be called the “orange book”

That is definitely an option. That is what got us through Trumps 1st 4 years

It would appear that extending the current contract is the best option now. Because if it's not extended now we will all wish it had got extended once we attempt to negotiate with Trump and fail miserably like when NATCA tried negotiating with W Bush which failed and created the white book. This current contract will actually start looking pretty good.
What about negotiating with the current admin that we endorsed before they bounce? wishful thinking

John Carr ran advertisements against the incumbent, while this was not the only factor it was a huge one. The FAA went into negotiations to push the Union back and there were other legalities at play that handicapped us.
You are talking about what created the white book right?

I don't think we can negotiation till it ends. All we can do now currently is extend. I honestly don't know how all that works

Nick just sent out an email, looks like extension is back on the menu:

NATCA active and retired members did outstanding work to protect and expand the NATCA Majority during the 2024 election.

Although it could be days before the final results are determined, we know with certainty that President-elect Trump will be inaugurated as the 47th president of the United States on Jan. 20, 2025, and that the United States Senate will have a Republican majority when the 119th Congress convenes on Jan. 3, 2025. The balance of power in House of Representatives is still to be determined.

NATCA will move forward and work with the administration and legislators who will be in office beginning in January.

In the short term, we will continue to work with the current administration and Congress to address our priorities. And we will begin developing a relationship with the incoming administration and new members of Congress. As always, our legislative activists are the key to building those relationships and we will call on you to participate in that effort.

All of this means that NATCA will have a very busy advocacy agenda, and our challenges will be significant both in the short and long term. We will continue to keep you informed about what we are doing, and we will ask for your help as we move forward.

Hahaha. I really hope some of you bros are ok and realize that Trump was politically prosecuted by Bolsheviks all along.

Reality would like to have a word to set your delusion straight. The convicted felon did in fact steal classified documents, keep them in his possession, and refused to return them when ordered to do so, all in violation of federal law. He did in fact obstruct the investigation into those stolen documents. None of this is in dispute. He did in fact engage in a violent coup attempt in the nation’s Capitol (all on video). He did in fact solicit the GA Secretary of State to fraudulently manufacture 11,780 votes for him out of thin air. That was recorded on audio by the GA SOS’s office & provided to the Fulton County District Attorney as evidence of the felon’s criminal activity. Now you can return to your delusional world where facts do not exist.

Who did you end up voting for?
