Couple of questions, just got a TOL last week from the 2018 bid. Going on 33 years old. HR says everything is on hold (Covid) until all requirements are open. What’s a Tier 2? Anyone else get a TOL last week? How long have you (who got all the way through) been waiting from when you got your TOL to when you got your academy date?

Highly doubt the TOL you got was from the bid 2.5 years ago. Did you reapply to the 2020 bid? The process length varies greatly and will almost certainly take longer with COVID. I wouldn’t expect an academy date any time soon.

I applied to the 2019 bid but didn’t test because I thought I was aging out. Hadn’t done my research about having to be under 30 at the end of the hiring period so that’s why I’m assuming it was from the 2018 bid. Maybe my score transferred over to the 2019 bid?

Yes your scores are good for 3 years.

Is there anything I should know about a Tier 2. I was told it would be about 4 hours and more tests.

Well, I was finally offered a February class date yesterday. It's been a good run. But while waiting many things have changed and I've decided to pursue other opportunities. Good luck to everyone else going forward.

In short I have no idea.
2019 was a shutdown then covid and apparently the academy has been virtual for some time so there’s that. But I knocked out everything in their requested timelines before all that. But I was waiting for a MMPI tier two when that all went down and idk kinda stopped hearing from them. I thought I was off the bid because i wasn’t getting any response for so long.
