I was told today that once all my clearances go through they would determine my facility and then coordinate my dates. Confused since I thought facility was not chosen until at the academy..... unless I’m getting drafted for N90
Do you live in the NY area? I've only seen northeast resident new hires getting drafted for N90.

I havent been on here in a while. I just did my security stuff two weeks ago, MMPI yesterday and my medical this week. How quickly was everyone getting their academy dates and where do we go to see if we passed everything or is it an email they send us?

The AVGLS email will update you on clearances medical and security can be cleared anywhere from a week to months. Once you’re cleared they will give you a fol typically in 3 days with class date options as soon as that week 2 weeks or a month usually.

Thank you...so we dont have to log back onto e-qip for anything?

As far as medical what e-mail is everyone using to get updates? I e-mailed the -applicants@faa and have heard nothing back since Friday. Wondering if I should try the -ATCT@faa one instead?

I was given POC's for all my clearances. I found out my medical one by emailing the general AGL emil address.

Had my physical today, pretty eventful. From the receptionist saying I didn’t have an appointment scheduled, to getting halfway through the appointment and then haven’t them tell me that they didn’t have authorization from the FAA to do the appointment so they couldn’t do anything else. Took about 3 hours total to get everything straightened out

Welp...found out today I'm disqualified for my Army flight physical to be a pilot. That doesn't worry me at all for my medical clearance with the FAA. Nope. Not at all.

That's not good news, did they at least provide you a reason or the right to appeal?

No waivers for this...I had one migraine headache upon waking up over a year ago and I guess that's a disqualifier for flying for the Army. I haven't been able to find anything yet specifically in the FAA regulations referring to that type of migraine so guess I'll have to see what they see.

There's something fishy by the sounds of this. I have a DUI from when I was 17 and haven't had issues with the helicopter program. Mind you I stopped pursuing it now that I got my TOL and will be ETSing in 2.5 years.

I wish I knew. My PA who did the physical is emailing them to inquire more. The physical is already returned though with the 1W disqualifed stamp on it. They never asked for more info or further evaluation either.

I'd find it hard to believe if you had literally one migraine and that's it that would disqualify you. Lemme tell you....they make mistakes. Trust me on that one.
