I haven't been angry? News to me and my coworkers lmfao

regarding the 4 yrs , i actually had hope things would change. I like my local too, tbh. Now it's clear to me it's not worth it at all, it's evident national's interests do not align with mine whatsoever.

I was furious when they extended 4 years ago, I was a vocal minority then because it seemed like nobody else noticed or cared.

More people are pretending to care now, but we will see in January if there is any action or not, and if there is or not, we all ended up in the same spot with a wasted 30-80% of our careers depending on when you started.

The apathy of our workforce surprised me. I'm glad some are waking up and noticing.

I still remember when I started talking about Justin and Redmond people didn't have a clue and some didn't even know there was election coming up.

Even if people vote for president, what’s the point if candidates are allowed to outright lie to get elected without any repercussions? I guarantee you there are people who voted for Nick Daniels under the impression he would NOT extend the contract - because he clearly said he wouldn’t. The process to impeach and remove these “leaders” needs to be simplified. The US House of Representatives can change Speakers basically on a whim but heaven and earth need to be moved to remove a NATCA president. That’s a problem.

The establishment is hopeless—they never fight for meaningful change. Not even once. But we’re going to try and give our leaders, the weak ones—because the strong ones don’t need any help—the kind of pride and boldness they need to fight for our members and take back our union.

If they board was somehow opposed, yacht boy would be screaming how we need to fix our constitution and make it more Democratic, how it’s not representative enough, how we need more voices, more equity etc. et al. But it works for them, so they will fight to keep it the same

Exactly. I’ve been saying this for years, the #1 goal for NATCA is maintaining the status quo and their cushy positions at all costs. They don’t represent controllers, they represent themselves.
