FAA controller hired with Air Services Australia

Their hiring and academy process is brutal from what i saw at the Melbourne academy. Pass rate is low for sure. For the internationals coming you will be working some class G and E traffic. Which was new for a lot of us internationals. Phraseology definitely different.
Do you just mean working planes to the ground at uncontrolled airports?

This. The Fed can suck it if they think I'm reporting my non-taxable income to them.
Worldwide income is taxable, though, although exclusions etc exist.

Also, FATCA requires foreign banks to report accounts held by US citizens to the IRS. US persons are also required to file FBAR if they have any foreign accounts that ever contain more than $10K. Stiff potential penalties for noncompliance.

Keep your AUD in cash as much as you can.

You’d could renounce your citizenship

Right, like I'm not planning on coming back on a long term basis if I decide to leave. It'd be retarded to subject yourself to that when you don't need to.

I feel like this only makes sense if you want to just go live in Australia forever. But I guess not being able to retire here might not be great.

The Airservicea retirement sounds pretty respectable, and heading over the after gaming some sort of medical from the FAA would make it comfortable.
