Melbourne. I’m sure I could hold out for Sydney but it’s a bit more expensive to live. They said no openings for Brisbane in 2025 most likely. All towers.Which one?

Congrats man, you taking it I presume?Melbourne. I’m sure I could hold out for Sydney but it’s a bit more expensive to live. They said no openings for Brisbane in 2025 most likely. All towers.
On the fence. Financially not smart. But how fun would that be? I was thinking a permanent move but the Mrs isn’t interested in that unfortunately.Congrats man, you taking it I presume?
good luck in whichever you choose. On the fence. Financially not smart. But how fun would that be? I was thinking a permanent move but the Mrs isn’t interested in that unfortunately.
How was the process applying? What kind of experience do you have?On the fence. Financially not smart. But how fun would that be? I was thinking a permanent move but the Mrs isn’t interested in that unfortunately.
Process was very easy. Application, interview, references then job offer. Took a couple months. They want whatever track you’ll be working to be within the last 4 years I think so I was only considers for tower. Their pay for me, not sure if it’s lower for different experience but I kinda doubt it.How was the process applying? What kind of experience do you have?
Wait what the fuck the pay is that high? I know it's AUD but Jesus Christ I thought it was like 80k AUDProcess was very easy. Application, interview, references then job offer. Took a couple months. 7 updown
8 tower
11 tower
12 tower
I doubt they could attract experienced applicants with that low of a salary lol. It’s good if you’re at a 9 or below I feel like and they only work 9 days in a pay period which is nice. OT can be available but cannot be mandatory. They said they will literally shut down the airport if needed lol.Wait what the fuck the pay is that high? Well as someone only six years in, depending on the next four years I might be looking for a changeI doubt they could attract experienced applicants with that low of a salary lol. A buddy of mine who resigned form a 5 up/down is going through it right now. He’s been out for shy of two years, he just got a list of 80 facilities consisting of lvl 9 and below FPLs.Has anyone been through the reinstatement process recently or know if people have had any success coming back with the new admin?
He would have to go through a prior experience bid. Reinstatement is only for previous cpc’s.Is there any guidance on non-cpc returning reinstatement? Asking for a friend looking to return. Only had a CTO for a year
Thank you for confirming, I appreciate itHe would have to go through a prior experience bid. Reinstatement is only for previous cpc’s.
Is he prior service? A lot of facilities have received direct to facility guidance for prior service.Thank you for confirming, I appreciate it
Unfortunately not. Good idea though, I saw recent changes with that. It should have a reasonable impact on staffingIs he prior service? A lot of facilities have received direct to facility guidance for prior service.
