Huge changes, potentially coming this panel (TBD). A new PPT will be run tomorrow to reflect the new numbers. I cannot answer any questions beyond that. For those that have ERRs into some of these facilities, you may never have a better time to get there. We will find out shortly if the new PPT will be used for the June panel or if they will stay with the original PPT on May 23rd.

right? it took 3 years to figure out they were 33% understaffed...

This has been years in the making. The agency wouldn't budge on their initial numbers until now. They wanted a zero sum game so if one facility was to gain 1 body then another would have to lose 1(even though the initial numbers were subjective). F11, for example, has been running 2+ hours on with 15 minute breaks for quite some time.

For those with ERRs in, you will never, ever get an opportunity like this to get to CLT or F11 ever again.

I've got a good friend that's been trying to get to F11 for years now. Last panel his facility released 2 on ncept to higher need facilities. But now there's retirements, people quitting FAA, hardship transfers, taking sup jobs.....too bad this CPC change for F11 didn't happen 3 months ago.

How often do they update these target numbers?
They don't. See above, these facilities have been fighting this since shortly after the NCEPT inception 2+ years ago. This was a nationwide, one fell swoop negotiation between Paul and Teri Bristol. You won't see numbers of this magnitude again.

Man...that's rough. I'll always tell people there are windows to get to certain facilities. Miss it and you never know when (or if) it'll open up again. Certainly one of the most difficult things about the NCEPT, timing the window with eligibility.

Also, there are a number of different factors at play if they update these numbers accordingly prior to the NCEPT. An additional CPC target of 113 bodies drops the projected percentage from 90.1% to 89.3%. This will effect the number of people higher level facilities can select. For example, ZTL, ZDV, and ZFW can currently all pick up 5, if the numbers are updated they will be able to pick up 2, 3, and 3 respectively.

To update:
The new PPT with the new CPC target numbers for the above facilities will not be used on the June NCEPT. The June NCEPT will follow the PPT dated 5/23/18. The facility priority list will be unchanged as well.
Get ready for the August panel.

Excellent news! Thanks for all ur info!

Damn I was hoping they would run with the new one. Would have help me

Even with CLT changing their numbers by 11, wont they still be over the current cpc percentage to pick anyone up? I calculated them to be at 84% staffed, isnt that still too high?
