So I am 2 weeks out from my Terminal Basics 7/3 start date and have not been able to find anyone else with the same date on here or Stuckmic. I asked Kim’s Place and Isolabella if they had anyone booked with my date and they both said no.
Anyone else been in a similar situation? Should I just ask my apartment to book me with the next closest terminal class (7/11)?

go by the date on your fol, call your poc if its bothering you that much

Honestly if there aren’t a lot of people in your class that’s better. Or it’s possible that they’re booking elsewhere and don’t surf stuckmic or .65

I got 8/1 terminal this morning. That was amazingly fast, I took my medical less than two weeks ago.

Yeah it was dead on Stuckmic too, everyone either has a date or they’re waiting on the flight surgeons. Which is my case as well.
Two unrelated sets of questions:
(1) I have noticed a few people mention that they had their academy start date pushed back due to prior commitments such as weddings. Is it not possible to miss a day of class to go to wedding? Is it fairly easy to get your start date pushed back if you do have a prior commitment like a wedding?
(2) Do applicants have to pay for the medical examination? I assumed it was paid for by the government, but I just got a bill in the mail. Not sure if I should contact the Aviation Medical Examiner, contact someone within the FAA, or just pay it.

For your second question. I did not receive any bills believe it was all paid for by the"employer" I had to inform the Dr prior to appt that it was pre employment and who the agency hiring was

So what do we think? Clads dates are about full up for the fiscal year? I'm coming up on my 4 month mark waiting on medical and I'm trying to put off calling the flight surgeon's office.

I think class dates are filling up cause no one has posted a date in a while. Or at least things have slowed down

As of June 19th, the Academy had 85 slots to fill for August and 130 to fill for September.

Interesting so I guess the classes are still there. Maybe class dates are just more normal now and nobody posts them on this thread

Maybe...or we re just all held up by medical. It's good to know they've still got over 200 slots for August and September. Hopefully the slower flight surgeon's will start reviewing more soon.
