Probably the TSP loan payment. You’ll probably have to pay that on your own.

I sent one in on Friday before the re-open thing. Felt like a real old timer using the post office and buying an envelope and a stamp.Probably the TSP loan payment. You’ll probably have to pay that on your own.
So are they gonna adjust this in the third check or we have to wait till we do our taxes in 2020?
No I’m talking about this 50% withholding boondoggle. Are they gonna adjust it to our actual withholding? You can do your taxes now. It's based on what you got paid last year, not on what you were supposed to get paid.

The best part is I was paid for the 1 day and they paid for all my insurance and union dues and then they withheld half of the rest.
That’s actually kind of a relief. I almost forget they use computers lol. My facility and I’m sure a few others, the T&A person can’t seem to get normal paychecks right so i think that’s the worry. I think ours DOES use an abacus lolI say this with a bit of trepidation because we work for the government but any payroll software worth half a shit released in the last 20 years will have plenty of capability to figure out what the difference is between what they withheld and what they should have when all the correct information is imported from ART. It's not like payroll is sitting there with an abacus trying to figure out Joe's overtime and night dif.
Again. Not sure what they use but given they pay out all the differentials and premiums every pay period it shouldn't be too hard to recalculate everyone's pay based on the new numbers.
the payroll people have been off for over a month. Not only do they have a months worth of work to catch up on, but they have to correct mistakes made in the art, whether they were made by a supervisor at the larger facilities or the BUEs at smaller facilities. They have to verify that mistake you made when you put your trainee as monitoring rather than training that you didn't catch, they have to verify that you should have taken 1:15 of leave rather than 1:16 because you weren't paying attention. they have to make sure overtime assigned was correct and make sure you get paid appropriately. they aren't taking 50% of your check, they are rushing to get you money and for 2 missed paychecks and they are paying you 3 times this week. it not just a computer making sure its right, someone has to make sure its actually correct, because just like them the work force is just as responsible for the accuracy of the ART. yes there will be mistakes, yes you deserve every cent you are owed. give these people some time, hold them accountable but give them until at least after the 12th to make sure you get what you are owed. these people make probably make less than half of most of us and are doing the best they can. under normal circumstances this is difficult and these people are dealing with some of our mistakes and awful guidance at best. this isn't some grand conspiracy to screw us over and if it is its not because of some administrative assistant.
Isn't this what our secretary did when they called him in each week? I thought this was done locally at every facility already.
What a load of shit. So much for being made whole as quickly as possible"Pay Period 03:
Pay period 03 will include pay for January 20 to February 2, 2019, and any retroactive pay for regular hours for pay periods 01 and 02. Overtime and premium pay for pay periods 01 and 02 will be paid on February 26, 2019, pay period 04 payday."
Directly from HR.
