Government Shutdown

Yet is there a better way to go about it? Maybe we all combine the NAS and put it on a CTAF with FSS related control instructions, end of the day it's like screwing one of those super advanced sex dolls they're going to get screwed and put away wet, except we are the super advanced sex dolls.

The biggest change id like to see if your facility is in the red, maybe you can only transfer after say 5 years cpc or something like that. But give us a light at the end of the tunnel.

FWIW .... It was one of the best January's for the stock market in history... and we had ostensibly 0 TSP contributions.

I said this in the very beginning of the shutdown, that we could miss out on tsp earnings and compounding interest and someone replied that the government shutdown could save us money from possible losses in the market. Whatever........

Until she decides that it's better to live in a crappy town with child support. Heard a rough story about husband and wife controller both transferred to Alaska, but the husband went first, she dropped her offer and sent divorce papers. Could be a myth.

I heard this too, a couple years back if memory serves. Want to say the third wheel was a sup too ??

She actually dropped me off and served me with the papers.

The talk this morning is that since pay period 3 was half during the shutdown and half outside the shutdown, the upcoming paycheck (PP 3) will be a hybrid straight 40 hours with no MLK holiday pay, no OT, no night diff, no training diff, no CIC diff and no CIP diff plus another 40 hours with normal pay.
Pay period 3 is from January 20 to February 2. Pay will be straight pay from January 20-26 or 27 plus normal pay January 27-Feb 2. The balance owed will be paid Feb 26 (PP 4).
The FAA/DOI is confusing everyone so much with all these partial pays, no LES and changes in its payment scheduled. When you do get finally paid you will have no idea what it should be and they hope you will just accept it.

I really hope that is not true. It's not a cash flow issue it's a principle issue. We have put in the hours and now the time to get paid has come and gone. We've been more than patient waiting for them to fix this shit. We still have no clue what LES's are going to look like. I'm over it. The government owes me money dating back to December, it's February now.

If the next paycheck has straight 40, 60, 80 and no premiums I'll be personally reaching out to natca national to voice my displeasure. It's not that hard to fix T&A's. Everything was tracked in CRUART, there was no paid leave and everything was backpaid. Seems pretty straightforward.

Natca needs to step up and handle business or get to filing another lawsuit.

I really hope you’re just trying to grind our gears..

Why would they change it? They came out with guidelines for the pay was going to be just a week ago? We have them posted on the bulletin at my facility

The same reason it changed before, because the faa has no clue what's going on and DOI is supposedly telling the FAA to kick rocks. We all have the 10 emails that came out saying you'll be paid, then well you'll get paid 60 percent then 50 percent. And we were told we'd be paid Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and that changed.

Typical government operation. The worst part is we are all still pawns in a much larger game.

So I almost completely forgot about it, but they still owe me almost $2k in OT alone from PP27 since payroll was entered early. Is that getting made up in PP3 or 4 as well?

Our reps are confirming PP3 paycheck for Feb 12 will be a hybrid check.
Jan 20-26 will be straight pay with no holiday, no OT nor any premiums or differentials. Jan 27-Feb 2 normal. Also the remaining 50% times two will not be in PP3.
