Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-18-ALLSRCE-57792

When they say "Your Pre-Employment Interview Worksheet must be signed, dated and returned to this office at a minimum of 10 days prior to your scheduled Appointment Date."

Do you think they mean calendar or business days?

To be safe I went with business days but was wondering what others thought.

I also did business days, and I gave them closer to 15 days as well just to be sure. If you wanna run the risk and cut it close, it's possible that they wouldn't have your stuff processed before the day of your appointment, at which point the AME would just send you home and you'd have to reschedule it for weeks or months later. Not worth the risk to potentially save a day or two.

Has anyone in SoCal received their security or medical email yet or have been able to schedule their MMPI-2?
Got my security email this morning at 0815.

As far as MMPI I have to wait for to see if the government shuts down. My POC will contact me on Tuesday.

I am currently active duty and went to the medical facility to request the sealed copy of my records. They said they don't seal physical copies and that the disc for the digital copy would be sealed. Will this be good enough or did the guy not know what he was talking about?

They started doing that at the time I separated. FS won't take it.

if you're active duty the VA doesn't have our records yet, I'm assuming the military docs and digitally send them to whoever needs them "sealed".

What do you recommend I do then? I have an ongoing medical thing but I doubt it will be disqualifying

Did your bid have the requirement to be 90 days from separation upon the bid closing? If so might wanna keep still being on active duty on the down low. I was the same way and didn't separate from the Army until 9 months after the bid closed.

You can go to the medical records place and request certain dates or all information pertaining to a certain issue and they'll print it for you. Your clinic can probably also do that as well. That will at least cover you for getting documentation for a specific issue.

I'm not sure but I've already stated that I'm still active duty multiple times to the FAA and it hasn't been an issue. I requested it today but they won't give me a hard copy sealed. only digital

Yeah if you're trying to get a sealed copy I'm not sure then. Well sounds like you'll be good to go then. If you're planning on filing for disability and haven't done so yet I'd wait till after medical and the academy if you can. Makes the process a lot longer if you have disability benefits.

Just got my finger prints done. Went to the FAA regional office to get it complete.

Had anyone received a reply fir sending in the medical interview form?

So my security email says SF-86 for national security positions. I was under the impression that ATC was a public trust position? Not that it really matters I guess. I already have a public trust through DHS and was hoping that would just transfer over to DOT.

Anyone who received their security email did it mention that the e-Qip site was having issues m, and that someone will send credentials over once the issues are resolved?
