Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-18-ALLSRCE-57792

Hey vets with disabilities, you need to send in three things. Your VA medical records, military Medical Records, and your VA rating letter that explains your disability ratings.

I feel like being active guard or even just regular guard is making this way easier of a process than if I just fully separated active duty. I had to get a special consideration letter but my entire medical took like 2 weeks from appt to cleared. I'll have a rating as well once i do fully sep just seems kinda unfair to make fully separated people do this much more work than me.

Did they ask for that explicitly? My form they sent only asked for OMPF and VA letter

I was told I wasn't tier 2 but they just needed those records to verify. Now you got me sweating haha
Damn my bad. I definitely dont wish that on anybody. Everything was going real smooth for me on this bid till i got that dreaded tier 2 email. I pray you dont need to see it.

No worries. I wouldn't be surprised if I got that email just by being prior military. I'll stay positive though

If my medical POC says my information is “pending flight surgeons review” does that mean my MMPI has been cleared?
When my medical POC told me that mine is still pending flight surgeons review she also said my MMPI cleared. Don’t know if they always clear before final review or not but that’s what I was told.

Update to this, I replied and asked if that meant my mmpi was graded/cleared or if that was what needed to be reviewed. Her response was “You cleared the mmpi, no further testing is needed”

I called the number provided on the upper right hand corner of the paperwork that was attached to the email that had the list of Doctors.

I just finally got an email back stating my medical is being reviewed and that all the regional flight surgeons are very backed up with their own patients and that we are just added work to their current workload. The email also stated that no timeframe can be given due to the backlog. This is for non tier 2 personnel. Just for reference I took my mmpi2 on 19 feb and my medical exam on 26 feb.
